Most of us have heard about the phenomenon known as SpongeBob SquarePants, or have at least heard the question “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?” With the show being popular across the world, there is no wonder why SpongeBob is becoming a household name.
SpongeBob is the loveable sponge with buckteeth and a tie that laughs like no other. His pineapple home is located in the town of Bikini Bottom, in which he lives with his pet snail, Gary.
SpongeBob SquarePants Games best friend is a pink starfish named Patrick, who lives under a rock. Although he is not the smartest creature in the sea, Patrick stands beside his friend through thick and thin. The two seem to get into a lot of trouble together, but they always seem to fix the situation and enjoy their time together.
SpongeBob’s next-door neighbor, Squidward, is also his co-worker at the Krusty Krab. With all of the distractions that come with living next to SpongeBob, he rarely gets the chance to make some much needed improvements, although high-quality in his eyes, on his clarinet playing. Squidward has a different view of life than his giddy pals, which always seems to cause him trouble.
The Krusty Krab is owned by Mr. Krabs. He is a penny-pincher that strives to make his business successful while saving himself a few dollars. His daughter, Pearl, is a teenage whale that always wants the most fashionable gifts, which can cost Mr. Krabs more money than he is willing to give.
Another friend of SpongeBob is Sandy the squirrel. She lives in a dome and wears an astronaut-like helmet while she is in the water. Sandy and SpongeBob often work on their karate skills together, sometimes coming out of nowhere to use the element of surprise in their matches.
Plankton, an enemy of Mr. Krabs, is an almost microscopic character that causes more trouble than anyone. His only companion, Karen, is a computer that aides him in the fight to end the reign of the Krusty Krab. With his constant efforts to steal the Krusty Krab formula, Plankton usually finds himself among the most-wanted in Bikini Bottom.
The majority of the SpongeBob show is undersea; however, there are times that the sea-dwelling characters travel to the shores to embark on even more adventures. Whether in the water or on land, SpongeBob SquarePants always seems to find excitement with the help of his friends.

Going to the carnival is something that every child looks forward to as it approaches yearly. The games found at local festivals can now be found online. The SpongeBob online carnivals offer exciting games for children to play at any time of the year.
In SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom Carnival, players have the option of single play or two players, and then they get the option of which character they would like to be, SpongeBob or Patrick. The object of the Catch’em carnival game is for SpongeBob to catch the yellow items and Patrick to catch the pink ones. If two players are competing, they may catch electric eels to freeze their competition.
The Deep Sea Sharpshooter is designed to have players shoot bad guys with a bubble. They must be careful not to shoot the good guys, although shooting Mr. Krabs gives the player extra time.
The Sundae Splatter is a mini-game in which players have three minutes to complete as many sundaes as they can. Bubbles located at the top of the screen hold letters that the player must press in order to pop them and create the sundae.
In SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom Carnival 2, extra games include Ring Fling, Puffer Pop, and Whack-An-Eel. Ring Fling is simply a ring toss game requiring players to toss rings onto a sea urchin; while the Puffer Pop is a game where SpongeBob must throw pickles into blowfish in order to fill them up. The Whack-An-Eel is the traditional whack-a-mole with the added elements of the sea. These are classic games with the twist of being played in one of the most interesting places in the sea, Bikini Bottom.

Since many children are now computer savvy, the Internet has become a place for them to enjoy games that they would otherwise not get to play. Online adventure games are becoming the most demanded games ever, especially those featuring the infamous SpongeBob. Since most fans of the friendly sponge are of the younger generations, these games are specially designed to fulfill their wishes. With trouble brewing everywhere, SpongeBob needs the help of his online friends to save Bikini Bottom!
One of the most popular SpongeBob online adventure games is the new sponge bob Saves Bikini Bottom. In this game, players must eliminate the doodles that the doodle bob has created before they erase the city. Be careful though, or the doodles will eliminate SpongeBob. It is a fairly difficult game for first time players, so it is recommended that older children play this game.
In the SpongeBob Atlantis SquarePantis Squareoff, players must journey across the ocean’s floor to collect cards that will ultimately be used to defeat Plankton’s army. Different enemies are stationed throughout the game, so there is excitement at every corner.
Other adventurous and fast-paced games include SpongeBob Diner Dash and SpongeBob Diner Dash 2. Trying to save the Krusty Krab and Chumbucket from destruction, SpongeBob and his friends must serve the customers and serve the required amount of doubloons before the sun comes up. The sequel to the game puts the citizens of Bikini Bottom in twice the amount of trouble. These games are appropriate for children at least seven years old

The majority of people like to relax by playing online games. The games that are offered featuring the famous sponge are diverse in content and difficulty. Since the majority of the world is technology driven, the games of the world should fit in with that environment. The number of online games is rapidly growing with the demand, and since children are now quite computer literate, games of their favorite cartoons are in even more demand than typical online amusements. SpongeBob SquarePants is a character that is known all over the world, and is rightfully becoming one of the most popular gaming figures ever.
The online games featuring SpongeBob range from traditional puzzles to more complex games such as SpongeBob SquarePants: Flip or Flop. This game requires that Krabby Patties are stacked up within the time limits to prevent SpongeBob from flipping out.
Another exciting game is Trail of the Snail. In this game, SpongeBob has lost his pet, Gary, after not paying any attention to him. The player must follow a trail to reunite SpongeBob with his beloved snail.
SpongeBob SquarePants Obstacle Odyssey is yet another exhilarating online game. The object of this game is to complete an underwater obstacle course in order to help SpongeBob find his best-friend, Patrick.
